Constructing Castles

Fourth graders at Lincoln channeled their inner architect to make castles.

Their lesson was captured in this video issue of the district's The Week in 62.4 Seconds. They built their structures in their makerspace using various materials from cardboard to tissue paper. Students have been studying castles as part of their Middle Ages Unit, discovering they were built with high walls and moats to protect people from invaders.
